MJ Runners dominate Nordic walking competition. Continue reading
A total of over 1,100 runners took part in the Stadtwerke Flensburg Lauf on March 17 under the motto “Running for climate protection!”. Klimapakt Flensburg donated 1 euro per runner to a local climate protection project.
It was a brilliant day for the MJ Runners, aka M. Jürgensen’s Laufbu(x)en, on which they achieved outstanding performances. In perfect conditions with bright sunshine, our colleagues showed their athletic strength and team spirit. Out of ten participants, six took part in the 5 km run and four in the Nordic walking competition. And M. Jürgensen landed on the winner’s podium twice this year:
We proudly congratulate Mariana Pünjer for first place in the women’s competition and Kurt Maaß for third place in the men’s Nordic walking competition!
In addition to the sporting achievements, the meeting with many other companies from Flensburg and the good weather made for an all-round successful day.
We would like to congratulate all participants on their great achievements and thank them for their commitment and team spirit.
We are already looking forward to future sporting challenges and this much can be said: some of us have have been so inspired they have already signed up for the 10 km at the Südenseelauf. Now it’s time to put on our running shoes and start training!
