Lutz Buchholz, who left Kuhn for personal reasons on 31st January 2017, was highly appreciated both by us and by the customers that he dealt with. We thank him for his commitment and valuable contributions as Head of Sales, wish him continued success for the future and look forward to meeting him again on other occasions.

The sales team – with Andreas Suppes in charge of Key Accounts, Michael Schaefer as Head of Sales for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and Marcel Klein as Export Manager – remains unchanged, and will continue to ensure continuity of care for our customers.

_DK_0124Dr Heiko Brauckhoff has felt at home in our industry ever since starting his professional career in the steel and foundry sector. After graduating with an MBA, he began to gain experience, first as a sales team member, and then in sales management, at large foundries both inside and outside Germany. He has built up a large network of contacts in the course of his career, in such sectors as power generation, turbine technology and large diesel engines, while at the same time studying for and obtaining a doctorate in business administration from the University of Surrey (UK).

Dr Brauckhoff’s most recent post was as managing director at DIHAG Holding, a multinational group of companies active in the foundry sector.

We at Kuhn Special Steel are pleased, as of February of this year, to be able to count on his expertise and comprehensive operational and strategic experience. His competence constitutes a valuable and important addition to our management team, and we are convinced that his personal qualities are fully in tune with Kuhn’s corporate values and way of doing things.

We offer Dr Brauckhoff a warm welcome, and look forward to dealing jointly and successfully with the tasks and challenges that lie ahead.
