Greater efficiency, transparency, and reliability through group-wide energy management

Rising energy prices, volatile markets, stricter regulatory requirements, and growing expectations for sustainability are significantly increasing pressure on many industrial companies. Our customers therefore need reliable partners who can guarantee efficiency through structured energy management and meet these high requirements in a sustainable manner. Continue reading

From the customer’s point of view, certified energy management at the supplier is no longer a “nice-to-have.” It can make a decisive contribution to meeting sustainability criteria for their own end customers, for example, when public clients specify corresponding criteria. At the same time, certified energy management stands for more efficient, stable, and controlled processes.

Against this backdrop, the companies of Kuhn Industrie Holding have been ISO 50001 certified for years. The decisive factors here are not only our own sustainability goals, but also increasing regulatory and bureaucratic requirements for energy management and documentation. In order to further increase transparency and reliability for our customers, a cross-location audit was carried out for the first time in 2025.

For our customers, this means working with an experienced partner who systematically manages, controls, and continuously optimizes its processes. This reduces process risks, increases the stability of service delivery, and ensures reliable quality – even with rising energy prices.

Our group-wide ISO 50001 certification also creates transparent, documented, and reliable sustainability along our customers’ supply chains. As a supplier with our own energy management system, we make a measurable contribution to improving Scope 3 emissions and achieving our customers’ sustainability goals.

Another key aspect is security of supply. Energy crises, grid bottlenecks, and supply interruptions are real risk factors today. The ISO 50001 audit requires systematic risk assessments, analyses of energy-dependent processes, and defined emergency and improvement measures. This significantly reduces the risk of production downtime in our operations and increases security of supply for our customers.

Group-wide certification according to ISO 50001 is a reliable indicator for our customers of structured processes, high security of supply, and robust sustainability data. Uniform standards, transparent key figures, and centrally controlled energy management increase stability along the entire value chain. In this way, we create the basis for long-term, reliable cooperation – even under increasingly complex regulatory and energy conditions.
